Does host department hosting offering domain privacy feature? we are now searching for the answer. We went through their web hosting specification to find relevant details, can’t find it. And next we are trying our luck at host department support page and knowledge base and try to search for “domain privacy” keyword. Unfortunately, we can’t find relevant article about it… the search result result us hundreds of result related to domain, but not domain privacy. After that we went through the web hosting specification page again, we manage to notice the whois domain privacy feature listed at the bottom, stating domain WHOIS privacy at $9.95 per year. Well, at least we now know host department does offering domain privacy feature, and its selling at $9.95 per year (expensive).
Host department also offering a new domain feature called smart domain, and its something new.. check them out if you got time. Host department discount price is now just $5.45 per month, and use the host department coupon for another 6 free months.

After i sign up with host department, what i do is point the existing domain name to hostdepartment domain nameserver, and this the website can be fully running from host department hosting server. And the domain stays with existing domain registrar. Without the need to do domain transfer to host department. Although you can.
